StarRez data – know RoomBase from RoomSpace

We’ve been helping student accommodation providers report and analyse their Starrez data for over 5 years. The built-in reports are fine up to a point, but most users soon need a little more. It’s great that StarRez is so flexible, but with databases, flexibility leads to complexity. RoomBase vs RoomSpace? The RoomBase is what we humans would call a Room! the RoomSpace is what it says – a space within the Room (think multiple occupancy or a bed within a room). That’s before the added complication of Room Configurations that vary by term and Room Rates.
